Good idea Kathy - grain free gives the picture ... doesn't have the same clarity for the consumer though..?

Penny - the results for the Dex x Dex/Hereford under 24 months will be available over Easter - probably won't put them up until next week. I have the figures for the 39 month old Dexter heifer and was disappointed with the meat/bone ratio will put both on the same comments

Even cross-bred Dexter is better than some of the meat we get from some supermarkets. The 6 yr old cow we've just had home-killed (arthritis) still cooks up well, even though she's only 50% Dexter. We are looking forward to the time we can eat the higher grades of Dexter though. One Day..... :laugh:
