Linnean Society Meeting.

Last Friday there was a meeting of the Linnean Society .

Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Conservation Breeding And Livestock Genetics in Memory of Andrew Sheppy FLS.

Guess which Society was not represented? Yes, that's right, the Dexter Cattle Society.

I ask that council give us an explanation why we were not represented at such an important event?

The meeting was a great success.

Thanks ever so much Duncan for putting info and links on here. Did you attend? My apologies if you did. My info was that there was nobody representing the DCS? Is that correct?
It was in Andrew Sheppy's memory and he was passionate about our breed.

Di, as a council member I was not aware of this event and as far as I know neither has any other council member been aware.If we don't know of the existence of an event how can you attend? I cant explain it, did you know beforehand the event was being promoted?

Mark, I only found out on the Wednesday before from my brother-in-law via RBST. I can only assume an invitation would have gone to our secretary, have a look on the office computer. I would have loved to have gone.
