Current fees are £25/cow for the senior bull and £20/cow for the junior bulls. Youngest bull was £15/cow until first calf of his was born.
2017 rate for senior bull will be £30/cow if paid before calf is born, £35/cow if calf is on the ground and there's a panic to get service certificates sorted out before 30 day notification window expires. (Yes, I've had a lot of hassle with one herd in particular recently, but it's happened previously too) Youngest bull will be £25/cow. The third bull is destined for the local mart for cash flow.

Many thanks for that, the current charges from Genus for one round of AI including VAT is £29.82 (using DCS straws at cost).

Don't know what the exchange rate is, but there's a herd in Australia advertising a bull for natural service at AU$125 per female.
