LOWLINE CROSS
Has anyone seen a dexter /lowline cross. I was looking at their growth figures and they look impressive.

Re: LOWLINE CROSS
I've heard they have good growth rates. Doesn't make much sense does it, other than hybrid vigour I suppose. I cross with full-sized Angus and have provided figures to someone who crosses with a Lowline. But he's waiting for theirs to grow up before we can compare, so no news yet.
I'd guess they'd be slower growth but finish earlier? I do know they got tiny calves, which is tempting. My calves are fairly big, about the size of the biggest Dexter calves, not had problems, but best to be there on hand. Would be tempted by a Lowline if figures are good'ish.
