Triple Suckler!

I lost 2 cows a few weeks ago to frothy bloat. Both left orphans about 3 months of age. So I put the creep feeder out and they did take a bit but not much at all, I was getting worried how they would cope. But I've been surprised at how well they were doing. Well now I know as I saw the two orphans suckling from one of our Dexter cross cows, and she's also dealing with her own calf as well and looks in great condition with plenty of milk, good job really as these are big calves. I'll have to wean them a bit earlier than normal, give her a break.
