Looking for a Swop?

Post by Builth »

I have a short black bulling heifer born May 2011. She is a very pretty heifer that was shown as a calf by her previous owner and so was halter broken then. We have not lead her since we have owned her but she comes to call and is calm. She is only available as I want to use a non-short bull this year n my other cows. I would like to swop her for a steer 5 months +.
Anyone interested?
I'm in Mid- Wales.

this may seem a stupid question but as its is never advisable to put short to short due to the bull dog gene, why do you have a problem with this heifer. Non short to short is the recommended route to take.

Thanks for the reply, I was a bit worried about putting a small heifer 1st time to a big bull. All our other cows are big girls & I woud like to use a large beefy bull, it would be a shame to put such a nice heifer in the freezer.
