Big herd getting bigger!

I had a visit from an Northern Irish Dexter man on Monday night. He cleared my butchery out of my redundant kit, which was quite a nice suprise!

He was telling me had around 250 dexters on the ground at the moment. i said to him well you wont need any more off me next year. he replied, yes i will i want to make it 500!

I'm working on 150 cows been about right to make a decent living from for both of us, which, when you figure in followers and finishers, means up to 600 head at peak times.

I suspect he is talking cows not followers as well.
