Sale prices were in guineas, so allowing for the 5% commission the £ prices are what the seller will see.

Great photos, wish I had been there now! Lisa, you are very cheeky, wondered what you were talking about at first then twigged, Adam Henson! Look forward to seeing the cattle on Countryfile at the end of the month.

Just a reminder that, with a bit of luck, we may have a couple of seconds of airtime on countryfile tonight, BBC 1 - 8.00pm

Re: Melton Catalogue 8th Sept
Having been recorded for a vet programme years ago at Stoneleigh I think the broadcast was not bad. They take hours of recordings and digest it down to a few minutes. In this case the few minutes was for the whole show and sale, all breeds all species but focusing on Adam. The only bit I would have quibbled was Adam's assertion that it was DCS National Show - no, not quite, show and sale maybe, but not to be confused.
I hear a bit of feedback from clients, both farm and pets, and I must say Adam's bits on tele are very well received, he does a good job trying to bridge the ever widening gap between food producers and food consumers.
