Dont know if everyone reads the wanted ads but there is an interesting one on at moment wanting 4 calves to train for logging- another diversification for dexters !! hope someone can supply him

Yes I saw that and thought it was amazing, it would be really interesting if he invited us all to see them working!!! :)

It'll be interesting to see how he goes on, I'll mention it to my wife, she's found Jerseys are a lot more amenable than Dexters.

Great picture - I used to ride a cow mainly because I was pony mad and we couldnt afford a pony
what made your wife ride hers, does it always behave?
I knew treeless saddles were meant for all shapes and size horses perhaps you should send the company a copy of the picture Im sure they would like a new marketing angle
I wonder....if our Kune pig would fancy a saddle !!!

As for behaving he, Angus, used to behave well enough when she was up there, but he got so big that he was following his gut & destroying fences and was really far more powerful than she needed, so he had to go, hence the move over to Jerseys (also she hasn't been able to ride for a while since being pregnant, so they've just been pack-animals of late).
