Old Herd books and bulletins

Post by natmadaboutdexters »

I have been given some old Dexter Society Herd books and wonder if anyone is interested in these. I also have some Bulletins from the last ten years, although these look like good reading material for me so I may hang on to those.

The Herd Books range from 1956 to 1968 then 1970 upto 1994. Then there are a couple of odd ones for 2002 2007, 2008 and 2009.

If anyone is interested, please let me know. I will be attending the Midland Group AGM in April so to save postage I can bring them with me on that day.

I THINK I've seen old herd book going for good money on Amazon or E-Bay! Just a thought. I'd hate to see you give them away and then find out they're worth quite a lot; or worse still, who you gave them to sold them :(.

I have had a couple of people interested in the herd books and I am in contact with them at the moment via email. Clive, in regards to selling them they were given to me to try and find a home for by a friend therefore I am not looking to profit from selling them. I would prefer them to go to someone who is prehaps researching Dexters etc so that the information will be used for the benefit of the breed.
