There is the American Grass-Fed Association, which has been going for a few years now, and the market in the USA for "grass-fed" is now massive, and growing fast. $0.5bn last time I looked.
Anyhow, it looks like we now have an association for grass-fed in the UK http://www.pfla.org.uk/.
Does anyone know about this organisation? I tried to join the forum and got an email from them to set up a bank direct debit to be able to join, so I haven't joined in their forum.
They call it Pasture Fed, not Grass Fed, because they allow brassicas etc. And they have standards for their members to work to.
As there's a direct link between grass-fed and small cattle, thought it might be of interest to some Dexter people?

Re: The Pasture Fed Livestock Association (PFLA)
After hearing about it from someone on Twitter I was going to join but as it's another £50 & no real benefits I decided to leave it for the time being. I did express an interest by e-mail but heard nothing back.
