Dexter Size

Post by helen salmon »

I have been reading the Dexter Society webside and noticed the size of the breed is given as 92 - 107cms. Is this for a short? If so, what is the usual size range for a non-short?

The same height limits apply to both types.

Thanks Duncan,
Is the measurement taken at the shoulder? My two girls are 104cm and 107cm, but are considerably shorter than most non-shorts I have seen. I am not thinking of showing them or anything, just interested,

Bulls: between 42 and 48 inches (106 and 121 cm) at the rump.

Cows: between 38 and 44 inches (96 and 111 cm) at the rump

These are the sizes cut and pasted from DCS website, not sure where you are getting your sizes.
