Hi All
I've just had an e-mail from someone saying they were interested in an animal i had put onto 'Friday Adds' which is interesting because i didn't, and yet on looking, sure enough my dexter was on there. Have i missed something, are adverts that are placed on the dcs website automatically put on this other website?

Hi Cyndy, i have just had a look and it appears the website Friday Ads has copies a large amount of my sites adverts. Unfortunately they have not asked my permission. I have spoken to someone there and they have apologised to me and said they will remove them. The ads to the seller are free, the same as mine but obviously there is a commercial gain to be had through other adverts on their site ( commercial ones), thats why they are in bussiness. I am not sure i am very pleased at someone gaining commercially from all my hard work.
If a dexter advertiser wants to use an ad from my site to put onto another then that is fine by me, but to rape my site of adverts is wrong.
Hope you all agree, feedback please!

Quite agree Mark, you do all the work putting the advert on the site and for another company to just copy it onto their site is very cheeky indeed! Personally I prefer to know that any interest in my cattle being sold are through this site rather than a free ads. Is there a loophole in the system so that anyone can just 'clone' your ads?

Have to agree Mark.
I have a google search for the word dexter, not sure if it was on the same site that one of Ian Emmersons cattle popped up on yesterday, wording was the same but the line breaks had gone between the site headings, and the sellers coments, making the whole thing confusing.
O a slightly different track has anyone listed any animals that are at the melton mobrey, or any of the other rare breed sales?
Keep up the good work.

Hi Everyone
I found this very annoying as i had timewasters ring me up enquiring about cattle i had for sale, and one wanting me to export, which i have previously done and would not do again under no circumstances.
I agree with everyones comments its a real cheek to copy adds and if we wanted to use their site we would have advertised it with them and not with the dcs website.
I'm glad i asked about this otherwise who knows how long they could have been using our adds for their benefit.
