I would be grateful if anyone could tell me where I can buy leave on nylon halters for my calves and cows.
We're very proud that a heifer we sold made reserve champion at the Westmorland Show. She's only been shown twice and been placed both times.
We have ordered a cattle trailer and will be doing the business next year. Ros.

Try looking at the Peasridge web site. They had a good range last time I looked. I ordered some halters/collars this year on line, and I was very impressed with their efficient service. (www.peasridge.co.uk)

Hi Ros,

I ordered a couple of leave on nylon calf halters and a couple of calf nylon web neckstraps. The neckstraps fitted my short stocky 10month old heifer, but the halter was slightly on the large side so I would not have left it on her.

Another place to try is Creature Comforts - 01284 830225 - They really only sell in bulk but I talked them into selling me a couple of nylon goat halters, which fit young dexters very well. They were also very cheap, about £6.75 each, I believe.

Hope this helps!
