Ah well the wart vaccine has worked but only to a point, which is a bit of a disappointment really.

He had the last vaccination on 10.05.09, we were delighted when only a week later a very large wart went from his forehead, almost the size of the one on his scrotum. Then over the next few weeks some disappeared from around his penis but not all and the huge one on the scrotum and several other fairly big ones remain.

It isn't a total disaster as there were so many around the penis, that they formed a saucer shape and now the wart area is considerably smaller but we had hoped for a magical response!

I am considering looking at the alternative route. No - I have no intention of rubbing Tea Tree Oil in several times a day!!! However I am giving thought to feeding very carefully measured and mixed anti viral oils in his feed, something I have done with horses in the past for sarcoids, and/or Vitamin E - both of which are supposed to help raise immunity - any ideas on this subject? Has anyone tried it?

With petroleum jelly you only need rub it on about once a week, for at most 3 times, often only twice, making sure the warts are well smothered, and feeling for tiny new ones.

They are a blight once they are on a property. We never had them until we used an agistment paddock for a while. The stock brought the wart virus home and now we get them every year.
