here are our 2008 calves, two bulls and 3 heifers. 3 pics of my favourite dun bull calf. All are non-carriers.

I'm sure the pictures would be lovely - if we could see them. ;)

I'm working on getting a polled Dun bull. The deal is still up in the air, but you never know. :) I've got a heifer that I know carries Dun and another who had a relative which was Dun, 3 generations back in the pedigree. So you never know, it may still be lurking away unseen.

I had a cow that I was sure was Black through and through, though she had red relative three generations before and shocked me by giving me a red bull calf last year for the first time after a number of black bull calves. This year she has surpassed herself and given me a Red heifer calf. Now I can sell her to someone wanting a Housecow. She has an amazing udder.

Sorry you still can't see my calves, I have not had enough time when the mind is working well to try again, but will do.

I'm sure its worth the wait Ducan. ;)

Bye the way, I've got 8 heifer calves this year ! The drought has broken. 50% of each sex and still 3-4 cows yet to calve. You can't get fairer than that. :D

Come on Duncan I am looking forward to these after seeing your Photos at the 07 AGM. I enjoyed your commentary more though perhaps you could write a commentary to go with your photos ???

I don't know what has gone wrong with my Photobucket stuff, but every time I try to get photos off it onto the board all I get is a huge long string of letters and no photos. I thought it might be due to the computer remembering changes made since downloading the photos from camera - I mean reducing the size of the picture, not the legs of the calves! So I have tried reloading things to photobucket but just get the same result.

Duncan ps I do have calves this year. 4 heifers, 2 bulls.

Rob how can you question my ability to do as I am told! I spend my life obeying female instructions, of course I did it right. I have a wife, daughter and 7 female employees to take instructions from, I am well trained.
