Hopefully some one will post details of how the show and sale went, as sadly I was not able to attend this year.

The sale went very well, unfortunately i don,t have all the details as i was selling myself. As far as i recall:-
Top price 1200gns short in calf heifer.
1050 gns short in calf heifer
1050 gns non-short cow with steer at foot.
Average prices very good. more details to follow when we have them or someone else posts.

There wasn't the great excitement of high prices this year I didn't think. Our year old bull probably was the lowest price of the day. I didn't mind, he was the youngest there! With a bit more handling and attention he could well turn into a very nice looking bull.
This year was the first year that we haven't come home with a new Dexter in three years so a bit of a novelty for us. I hope both sellers and buyers were pleased with prices.

Hopefully the DCS or the Auctioneers will publish both a full set of Show results & auction prices, similar to the PDF catalogue that was available online from the auctioneers website ???

Good to hear that the prices shown, by Chris, so far seemed to be fairly good though.
