Hello Lisa,
very sorry to disappoint but I just can't make it this year. Our neighbouring vet practice has its two vets retiring on 31st August, and Catriona and I are expanding Bute Vets to become Bute and Cowal Vets - with addition vet assistant we will be approximately doubling our number of clients and taking in four times the geographical area, covering the Cowal peninsula of Argyll as well as the Isle of Bute. Time off will be a bit scarce for a while, though we hope to take on a fourth vet after a while.
I see most of the usual offenders are mentioned in the catalogue, and a few new faces as well. The disco night is certainly not to be missed on account of keeping your stalls tidy. I well remeber the queue for the grub on that night the first year the sale was held at Melton. A surprisingly large number of both long and short legs gathered outside the room and got first place in the queue, moving en masse to the buffet. Never before or since have so many Dexter breeders moved in the same direction at the same time.
