Cattle Hoof trimmer - Cornwall/Devon area

Hi can anyone recommend a hoof trimmer in the Cornwall/Devon area, we are getting quite desperate now as we believed we had found someone but after many phone calls and promises to come out to us we have given up hope of this particular chap ever coming out to us. I appreciate there is a list on the NACFT site but it does not look like it has been updated recently and I would prefer to have someone recommended. Many thanks.

Try Stuart Woollen. 01326 280610, he does a good job, but ask for a price first.

Hi Carole, Stuart Woollen did ours, absolutely top job too. Charged us last summer £10 per cow and £20 per bull but he only did the ones that were needed. He brings a rollover crush, only problem I found was that our short leg bull only just fitted it so a small short leg cow may be a problem.

Thanks Ken and Tony this is much appreciated. we don't have many shorts but the one that is causing me most concern is a tiny (long leg) heifer with awful feet. So I will have a chat with him. Thanks again
