You are too kind Happy Holidays.
Did you know that the kids in the 'photo, led by my lovely friend Amy Westwood and aided and abetted by her family including her Mum, had given my rusty old blue bike a makeover one night? I got up in the morning to find it had been painted bright pink! I had to pose for a 'photo but I didn't think it would "end" up in print.
They are a fantastic bunch and I can only reiterate what Bob says about them.
We have a great time at the Royal, it has an atmosphere like no other show. We spend most of a week with other Dexter enthusiasts and meet people from from all over the world. We have a lot of fun and can really get to know one another.
I hope bluetongue lets me go in 2008.
Happy Christmas to all Dexter friends and let's hope 2008 will be a wonderful year for our great little cows, they seem to be going from strength to strength.

I would like to add my appreciation for a very good read, Elaine has been a wonderful editor, an a hard act to follow, and I think Ted must have put his heart and soul into producing such a great issue.
Not sure why there is an add for an editor in the bulletin, I'm sure Ted has a lot more to offer us in future issue's.
Maybe someone can enlighten us on this matter.

I am positively blushing on behalf of my contributors and myself for all of your kind words about the Bulletin. As to the question about seeking a new Bulletin editor - that is because my original involvement was to produce the Annual Journal, which was unfortunately voted against and when Eileen resigned, the then Council asked me if I would produce the next Bulletin. As a member of the pre-agm Council and because the new Council gave up their roles I felt I should also relinquish the role as it was a Council appointment and would be unfair to my ex-colleagues and also to any members of the Society, keen to take on the role of Bulletin Editor.
Best wishes for a Great 2008

I for one would be delighted, if you could be persuaded to continue with the Bulletin, the last was most impressive. Can we take it that if the new Council, when elected, asked you to continue, you would be prepared to do it? Good editors are hard to find. You proved your worth in the classic ‘Life and Times’ which has never had an equal.
I will certainly second that Beryl, I do not see any reason why Ted should not continue as editor, Eileen was never a council member, correct me if I've got that wrong. In fact I think its better if the editor is not a member of council, that way it brings a fresh approach to the job as there is no pressure for a council member to have to do it and hopefully if Ted volunteers to continue its because he wishes to do so, not because he feels he has to.
