Is there a purpose made rope or chain for clipping to a bulls nose ring as I can't find one in my local merchants. Or would an ordinary horse lead rein suffice ?
I want to see if I can halter train my bull. I can secure him to a post using a lead rein clipped to his head collar. I do this to groom him, which he quite enjoys. But have not tried to hold him myself yet and feel the need to secure his nose first.

For training purposes a horse lead rope is more than adequate, though you might want something better for the show ring - many livestock equipment suppliers will have white bull lead ropes in stock. They are usually a good thick but soft rope which is easy on the hand. Bull poles are also avialable which allow you to hold the bull away as well as draw him to you, but that should not be needed in the show. Can be usefull for leading a bull eg for loading, if he is apt to be playfull with his head.
