What is an avatar anyway - I presume they have to be kept away from both the water trought and the minerals,

avatar
Computer-generated character that represents a human in on-screen interaction. In the mid-1990s, avatars were primarily used in computer games (but are now often used as a human symbol in forums).

Peter,

Will this representation have horns or will it be polled? We certainly wouldn't wish to view it if it had any more than .00231% imported characteristics in any case.

Duncan, passed the ignorant mode and into less serious...

I thought avators were those nifty little pictures that you could put under your name in the :margin:. Makes the list look a lot more fun and interesting and judging by the replies in this thread, I would say that some Dexter people have a sense of humour. And just exactly what are those silly little light bulbs supposed to represent anyways?????? :D

Kathy,
Maybe the lightbulbs are there because we are all such brightsparks.
Or it could be that each thought we share is a little stroke of genious... Yes it must be that we are such an erudite lot! :D
