AGM linear event

Hi all, anyone interested in bringing along the odd animal to be classified at the AGM on 8th October at Stoneleigh, we already have some promised but obviously the more there are for the members attending to look at the better. The DCS will pay £30 per animal up to a max of £90 to cover the Tb costs for premovement testing that is required for the event, animals will only be accepted on the Saturday morning and must leave the site on Saturday evening.

Thank you to the members who had made arrangements to bring their cattle to the AGM Linear Event. I had hoped it would be a worthwhile exercise to promote Linear, even just an opportunity for members to see some cattle at the AGM on site without the travel to visit herds in the area. Unfortunately I think the opportunity is now missed although participating breeders in the scheme have indicated that farm visits for those interested on their assessment days could be the way forward.
Thanks again to everyone and don't forget to claim your TB test costs from the society as you have every right to.
