Dexter beef

Post by Rob R »

I seem to have been getting more enquiries for Dexter beef via the Dexter Cattle Society website of late, has anyone else noticed similar?

Oh, I thought something had perhaps happened since the meeting. It must be completely random. :?

Yes I went, it was very informative, 3 speakers and a butchery demo by Paul Mac which was very interesting on his dexter experiences. As with all these events you tend to pick up quality bits of info by just talking to people. There is a revamped beef leaflet on the way for your customers.

I have just received the report. As it came across the emphasis was more on production than sales but I just wondered what the conclusions were on the proportions of cuts? We're doing fewer joints and more steaks, mince & dice these days.
