Hello,
I have just recently started with some Dexters and I was interested in reading some more about them. A book mentioned in an earlier thread author Patrick Curran is retailing (on Amazon) for the price range I would expect to pay for a dexter bull not a dexter book.
Another book I came across was 'Life and Times of Dexters: History of the Dexter Breed (Of Cattle)' by Ted Neal....again though its not a book you'd buy on a whim.
Has anyone got a suggestion on some good books or alternative sources to finding them.
Thanks,
John

Re: dexter books
For someone starting off then Dexter Cattle: A Breeders' Notebook by Gabriella Nanci and Stefani Millman is excellent. http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_nos ... ok&x=0&y=0.
It is American and there are some slight differences but they are fairly obvious. It explains everything clearly and is concise. It is a practical book.

Thanks! I'd noticed that one all right but I guess judged it by its cover.
