Looks to have worked, five steers, a young heifer and two july/august calving cows exploring there new summer grazing, buildings in backgroud are WW1/2 gun bases, river humber behind the hedge.

Your gang looks to have wintered well, looks as though you have a storm brewing in the back ground or is it the dreaded ash :)

We are hoping they should be able to stop out longer in winter, will be able to get to ring feeders in anti-aircraft gun emplacements without going onto grass with tractor. and plenty of walls & ammo lockers to shelter under, if you are dexter size.

Sounds like the perfect way to winter Dexters and no mess on the grassland with the ring feeders.

Steve can you please take pictures of your gang 'manning' the gun emplacements (flak jackets and helmets may have to be optional)
