My last 2 cows went to a new home yesterday so I can no longer call myself a Dexter breeder (although I still have 4 steers for beef) so I think this is as good a time as any to bow out.
Dexter owners are incredibly lucky to have this site and on it the services of Duncan, the vet. Also to have Penny and Clive and his wife who have done sterling work in promoting dexter beef on-line and in the media. It didn't work for me but I'm sure others will be more fortunate.
I wish you all a Happy Christmas and long years of enjoyment from your Dexters.
Sylvia
Goodbye everyone

I am sure all the board users will wish Sylvia well, she has been a major contributor on a lot of issues, and I am sure she will visit the site from time to time.
Some of her later experiences have been most unfortunate and probably not easy to share that with so many, so thanks to Sylvia for keeping us in touch through these times.
I still have a newspaper cutting on my desk of an article and photo of Sylvia and some of her herd when she was prompted to give some very good positive feedback following some negative press for Dexters. I hope these positive times will come back some time, keep in touch with us all.
Very best wishes for the future,
Duncan
