Can I transfer animals using the society website? It says that I can but I can't seem to find a way of doing it.

Also, when birth notifying it tells me that I need to send a cheque before the details will be added. However the cheque is for £0. Presumably I don't need to do anythiong but add the animals online? (They are steers so I won't be registering them)

I didn't used to notify steers but it's occurred to me that not doing this does leave several gaps in a cows calving record and may lead to questions when selling the cow at a later date.

I am sure you are doing the right thing in recoding the birth of steers I would always question purchase of a female with blank years in her calving record. They will go forward although you are not making any payment providing you complete the process otherwise.
