Di! *!*!*. I must be gracious and say thank you to all of you, at least I can claim a first on this board!
I had a wonderful day yesterday. I had nine visitors; some had travelled many miles, none of whom I would have known, except for the Dexter. Yesterday morning I had four e-cards from different parts of the world all from friendships built up through the Dexter, two from folks who are now very much part of my life, but that I have never met in person. Because I am lucky enough to have had a long life, and have outlived quite a few, I only have one remaining friend that I have not met purely through the little animal that has come to be such a big part of my life. We may argue about short v. long, about what, when and how, but there is a common thread which draws us together, some magic in this little animal which makes us recognise a kindred spirit, I for one owe it so much, so thank you little Dexter for making my life so rich.
