DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE PRICES WERE AT YORK SALE TODAY?ALSO WHAT SORT OF CATTLE WERE FORWARD - LONG,SHORT,HORNED,GOOD,POOR ETC.WE WERE VERY SORRY TO BE UNABLE TO ATTEND,AS WE HAVE ALWAYS ENJOYED YORK.I DO LOVE AN AUCTION!

Hi Lisa,

sorry that you could not get there today, you were missed. I cannot give you exact prices yet, but there was a big variation, with good well-turned out animals getting fair prices. You definitely missed a bargain or 2 ! I think there were a few short legged ones that may have interested you
I think I am correct in saying that top price for cow and calf was 740 guineas and for heifer 560 guineas. only one bull forward sold at 540 guineas.
