Yes Louisa I agree totally all of the shows need as much support and entries as possible but this cannot be used as an excuse to disregard the rules and therefore cheat. As the rules currently stand these surely must be adhered to or else it makes a complete mockery of all of the society's rules and will set a precedent to disregard all of the showing rules !Louisa Gidney wrote:Returning to Ann's comment that shows in the north need support, over 20 Dexters were forward at Cumberland show on Saturday. Also in reply Di to your comment rule #1 also clearly states that the competitor must be a member of the Dexter Society so therefore non members should not be showing, also in my opinion ignorance of the rules is no excuse to break them.
If people have an issue with the current rules this should be address directly with the society at the next available council meeting or agm.
