Sale prices were in guineas, so allowing for the 5% commission the £ prices are what the seller will see.

Officially from the market there were 18 dexters sold, top price 1,000gns average was £491.75

Thank you so much for putting up all the great photos. I think the photos clearly show great Bone Structure, Muscle,good back end and perfect Red colouring - definatly a Bull to Breed Standard. Many, many happy Dexter Ladies at Melton!!!

Having been recorded for a vet programme years ago at Stoneleigh I think the broadcast was not bad. They take hours of recordings and digest it down to a few minutes. In this case the few minutes was for the whole show and sale, all breeds all species but focusing on Adam. The only bit I would have quibbled was Adam's assertion that it was DCS National Show - no, not quite, show and sale maybe, but not to be confused.

I hear a bit of feedback from clients, both farm and pets, and I must say Adam's bits on tele are very well received, he does a good job trying to bridge the ever widening gap between food producers and food consumers.
