What a cruel and unfortunate mistake, we will all be hoping that when you finally have your test in 60 days you will really have the all clear you so richly deserve.
Yes, this is like Animal Health contacting me to blood test my herd six months after they had been culled in the last F&M outbreak. When this was pointed out to them, they said "Oh, we thought we had allowed them to live"
Sylvia, my heart goes out to you. It is so, so,hard to go through all this, but we are all behind you and keep fingers and toes crossed that you will get back to routine testing soon.
Best Wishes
Penny
Thanks for your good wishes, and I would say once again that these posts are not put on simply because I am wallowing in self pity (I know there are hundreds in the same boat) but because I think the 'other' side of cattle keeping needs to be aired, not to frighten the uninitiated but to forewarn.
Sylvia, your posts do not come across in such a manner. I do feel for you, it must be awful. I am glad that I do not make my living from farming, I take my hat off to those that do.
So its roll on November then. Two months will pass quite soon and then you'll be free to move them. We're keeping our fingers crossed for you that the next test will give you an all-clear and you're life on-hold will be finally over.
