I'd like to say hello to everyone as I am new to this forum and would also like to say thank you to Mark for setting up the Site so we can share (in my case learn) information about the Dexters! I hope to get some heifers/cows for breeding in the near future and will be trying to read all the posts to get a feel for the breed...and there are a lot of posts for me to catch up on! Welcome Kevin, good that you are hoping to get some Dexters and putting in some "homework" time.
A good piece of advice would be to get yourself round a few herds to check out whats around and what type of dexter will suit you.

Thanks for the Welcomes! I'm in Galway in the West of Ireland Kathy and with all the info here I can see why it's a lifeline to you! And yes Mark, the more homework done now may save some headaches later! :D
