I haven't posted anything for a long time as my ability to keep dexters has been in doubt for a few years, which has been quite stressful at times. This was due to my dependency on renting land which went through a period of turmoil whilst various landowners decided to do other things. Nevertheless I have clung on and have managed to buy some land of my own. So now it is a question of how many not whether. Here's a couple of pictures taken during the hot summer on my newly acquired field. It looks a bit like the Serengeti, but as I am under stocked I've been able to ride out the drought and the cattle have done really well.

Hopefully, here's Rosewood Glenkinchie in 2017. The crutch I'm holding should give an idea of his height as the hand grip is at 36".
Glen is available for hire, or I might consider selling him this autumn.
