can anyone recommend any free software or a phone app to manage a cattle herd.

found one that given a service date, return date or calving date works out the others. looking hopefully for something that will remind me when a cow may next be bulling, or which ones may be calving soon

i use the diary on my computer to send me reminders for anything which is important, I'm on an apple mac so if your a PC person i'm sure there must be something similar out there

I see very few of my cows actually served, so it would need to be a pretty smart app to tell me anything! Maybe I should get a drone and have it hover above them to see what is happening.

GPS collars would be a start - when we were gathering them the other day 7 cows stayed behind in the field and had to wait until the next day to come home.

I use an app called Herd on my iPhone. Very useful and helps me keep track of things. May not do exactly what you want and sadly doesn't synchronise with anything.
