The bit featuring Dexters was with 'Deer n Dexter' in Penrith. A family were visiting them to learn about how food is produced. They saw the cattle and deer out in the fields, then went into the butchery to make sausages. They seemed to be giving the impression that anyone who sells direct is not subject to the same pressures, which is a load of rubbish, but other than that it was fairly positive.

The rest of the programme was about low prices & protests for milk & lamb. They featured a Welsh sheep farmer who was losing £20 per lamb and was describing farming, at the moment, as being like rolling a dice in the casino. He, along with some dairy farmers they interviewed, were wondering how much longer they could carry on. They went on to talk about campylobacter in intensive chickens and how intensification is increasing the risks of infection and food poisoning. There was a statement from the British Retail Consortium to say that it wasn't their fault and it was all down to global prices.
