The Martin Clunes programme was brilliant. I especially liked the section of the family and their cows in Nepal, the families use small amounts of cow dung to generate their own gas fuel for cooking and heating.

My husband was ill this afternoon and resting on the sofa watching "escape to the country", that featured Caroline Bradbury and her Dexter herd. The couple on the programme were considering some Dexters after they had "escaped" to the country. According to the BBC, Dexters produce a mere 1-2 gallons of milk a day. Otherwise a good promotion!
