Beryl Rutherford Memorial Fund

Post by Duncan MacIntyre »

Does anyone know what has become of the Beryl Rutherford Memorial Fund? It is now almost 5 years since she died, and still nothing has been done with the money we donated to this fund.

I haven't either but I could do with it. Just paid for registrations, SAC (health scheme), Genus (not including the straws) and the vet not much change out of £800!

On a more serious note, I hadn't realised it had been that long since she passed on. Perhaps Duncan will ask while he is at the AGM.

Fiona Miles should be able to answer any questions about the fund, as she and the elderly Mrs P Laing are the only people in control of it as far as I can tell.

Also there has been a rumour that the fund paid for my bull - Woodmagic Hedgehog 4th to be collected for AI purposes. This is completely untrue.

Hedgehog 4th was collected last year and his straws are being sold worldwide but this has all been done ENTIRELY at my own expense.

Just looking back through threads to see what I have missed ........

Has anyone asked Fiona about this? I am interested to know what it has been used for, or if it has not, what are the plans for the fund, ie in what area is it likely to be spent?
