Dexter Cross
Dexter Cross
Hope everyone is enjoying the summer weather. Knowing how much people on the site love cross breeds I thought I would post our latest calf to see if anyone can identify it.

Re: Dexter Cross
Looks like it Ann, but no, it's a Stabiliser X Dexter. They're not usually that fluffy though.
Here's dad, fine coated as is mom!

Re: Dexter Cross
Sorry, went away for a few days. We tried a Whitebred Shorthorn bull on one of the Dexter groups this year, so far so good. We are going to move him onto the Highlands this year but I was very interested to see what the calves were like. Clive,I had your one down as a Highland x Dexter with all the hair , we had some the year before last, most did well, however they were a bit wild in temperament. I will need to post the Belgian Blue x Dexter calf that we got this year, a bit of a shock! I think a bull must have made it over from my dads herd.
