AGM Scotland 2014

Post by 2loo2loo »

Would just like to say a big thank you to the Scottish Group for this years AGM. Wonderful venue, very good hotel, excellent food and service. Interesting meeting enjoyable pre meal drinks and very good gala meal. Entertainment very enjoyable with a barn dance band and caller who certainly got us on our feet all trying our very best. The trips out were very good and all well organised for which we must all thank Chairman Robin Walker who worked extremely hard all weekend to make sure things went smoothly. If you read this Robin we did find Glen Lednock and yes we did see the red deer and heard the stags roaring so a wonderful end to a enjoyable long weekend. Once again a big thank to Robin and the Scottish Group. Tooloo's Dexters and all who attended from the Midland Group.

Thank you for all your kind words , everyone gelled so well , you were all a pleasure to host , we would be delighted to have the Dexter Society return to Scotland in the future .
We were so pleased that you all entered onto the dance floor and enjoyed the ceilidh , your dancing was fantastic .
I am so sorry I could not accompany you on your venture up Glen Lednock , but so glad you managed to find and hear our Red Deer Stags who are in full rut at the moment .
You are all welcome back anytime , best wishes Robin and the Scottish Group

Did I miss a year? 2014? Maybe too much Dr Who this week!
Anyhow Ian and I had a great time at 2013 AGM. Spent a week in the Highlands, even visited Rob Roy's grave. (I was born a McGregor!)
