Hi All
We the Irish Dexter Group would like to invite all Dexter enthusiasts to our "Return of the Dexter" to its original homeland Gathering. We have come together with Dundrum House Hotel (where Mr Dexter was an Agent) and are currently putting together a package of accommodation and events which will be ready shortly. Some of the events organised will be unveiling of plaque/sign of the cow, our first Dexter/Rare breeds show, cookery demo's, Gala meal, society speakers from any society's who wish to be represented, workshops etc. It goes without saying there will be plenty of Irish entertainment, street parties, dances as well just for the craic! So if you are starting to think of your summer hols come join us we would love to see you. Dates for events are Tues 20th Aug & Wed 21st Aug.

Absolutely pass the word as far as you can the more people hear about it the better. Once the program is finalised we will put that up too for all to see.
Thanks a million

Re: RETURN OF THE DEXTER GATHERING
Hello Tom,
Sounds wonderful!
I am an Australian breeder and think It would be great if we (meaning 'we' Australians) could organise a group to come. Of course, for the amount of money to travel from here to there we would probably want to do more than just your two days of Dexter activities.
If you have any suggestions I would love to hear them.
Regards
Kathleen

Hi Kathleen
We totally understand that and so we are putting together a package firstly of the Dexter activities but will be happy to help arrange outings to other attractions Ireland has to offer. You can at any time contact us for help to organise your trip. For an idea of what Ireland has to offer you could start by checking out the website for the Gathering. www.thegatheringireland.com/dundrumdexter will take you straight to our page. I will post up the programme of Dexter activities as soon as its available here on the discussion board.

Could you copy and paste the page from your website into a reply to this topic? Should work if that's what wanted.
