Thought of the day

Post by ann »

It would be wonderful if everyone updated their profile to at least give us all an idea where they lived, even it you only put the county in or country if you do not live in the u.k.
if you have a problem telling other members more of your details so be it, but as this board is so civilized I can't see why anyone would not want to show at least some of their details.

JMHO :) :)

Hello Ann, sorry about the mischievous reply, I do thoroughly agree that we should not be shy about saying who and where we are on this board. I does make replying to lots of posts a lot easier! :)

Duncan, in Rothesay, the Madiera of Scotland (well they used to say that before the monsoon season established itself between January and December)

I've just realised, when reading this thread, that I almost passed by Ann's door on the way to Whitby today, sadly time and the weather was against us for stopping off along the way, though.

Visitors are always welcome but you definitely need wellies at the moment and anyone wishing to call needs to give me a ring first to make sure i'm around.

I haven't been far without wellies lately and Thursday was pretty spectacular - it was a toss up between driving & whitewater rafting!

Our yard has been greatly improved by digging out the old shed base last week and replacing with hardcore but it's still stood in water.
