Just to let you know that a brand new recipe collection is available called "Freedom Food Celebrity Recipe Collection". It includes recipes from Jamie Oliver, Anthony Worrall Thompson, Ainsley Harriott and loads of others, together the best cook of all, my wife Caroline. She has a double-page spread on page 28 with a write-up about how we farm and our Dexters. It costs £4.99 and I think is available in supermarkets that sell Freedom Food produce.

Well done! How wonderful to be featured in a recipe book together with such great chefs, and to get the Dexters promoted too. That's my christmas presents sorted!

Got a bit more info. The recipe book could appear anywhere, but Sainsbury's is the main place. Here's a link to how you can win a copy from Sainsbury's.....

Hi Clive,

The link seems to have changed.

Is this the recipe book?

A friend over there is trying to get me a copy and having some problems, it shows as more expensive on the RSPCA site so I'm not sure if it's last years or this years etc.

.....mmmmmmm.....eeeerrrrrr.......

The link you just posted takes you to a book of the same name but that isn't the cover of the book and Raimand Blanc isn't in the one with Caroline. What on earth is going on.

We were told they were doing a reprint because they had run out of stock, so maybe they have it and thrown Raymond Blanc in for luck!

I shall investigate.....

PS. It looks like they have done a hardback version, changed the cover, charged more, and put Raymond Blanc in it. But the number of recipes is the same, so I just hope they haven't replaced Caroline with Raymond as that would be a bad mistake, what does he know!

Hi Clive,

Hmmm I want the one with Carolyn!

Are they close to you, or do you shop there? If can you open the book and see that she's there... then I can get my friend Jan to get a copy and post to me in Aus.

Why can't they do an index I wonder.

It's this one. I don't know what the other one is. I've got some samples here if you can't get one Vicki. It's Sainsbury's only at the moment, apart from some farm shops, and Sainsbury's are everywhere in the UK. It may also be in some magazines like BBC Good Food and Delicious, but not sure.

Hi Clive,

Keep me a copy, I may need to ask for one of yours, Jan wrote this morning "I went to Sainburys today, to have a look but no luck with the book."

I'll send her the pic and see how it goes... what a pain that I can't just order online and have it sent.

Thank you for all the trouble.
:D

Hi Clive,

Thanks for finding out, I can wait for a reprint, knowing there is going to be one.

Thank you so much for your trouble in finding out.
