Duncan there were four pics in a different format - I could view them in the email but not on my computer in any of the programmes so I couldn't change them to a format that I could use - sorry but I think it was those pics that were upsetting photobucket, you were probaby doing everything correctly. :D
Many thanks to Stephanie for posting these photos. I will look at the four rogue photos and see if I can see what the difference is. The only changes I made other than the size of the file was the names, because my computer did not like two files with identical names.

The Burnside herd is entirely chondrodysplasia free, either tested individually or from tested parents. The main stock bull is Shilton Pontius, of 100% Woodmagic blood. The female side comes from a good mixture of well known lines, with some from Curerden females, not a large well known herd but came from Vycanny lines, Cuerden Cindy was the dam of Croitachonie Bruin, bred by Jane Dawson and sold by me at Stoneleigh to Bill Burn, now with the Garrats Butterbox herd. The polling gene came in there through Vycanny Orphan Annie who was an appendix cow by a polled Shorthorn bull called Swinsongrange Challenger. My red cow Saltaire Drill is a granddaughter of Bruin. Cuerden Candy was with us into her teens and her granddaughter Burnside Rosemary was one of the last of my short legged cows.Also in the mix are Ilsington Bramble, Apple Joe, Saltaire Foxhound and a number of other well known names.
Duncan - I notice that in the pedigree you have pasted up there are three animal entries that instead of finishing with - black, red, or dun, finish with "other". Would you mind explaining what that means in this case or is likely to mean if I see it in another pedigree.
Also if anyone else has a problem posting up their pics, or a problem with photobucket and cannot get their pics on here you are welcome to PM me about it and I will do my best to sort it out if I can or post them up here for you if at all possible.
The entry of "other" for colour in the online herd book, where my pedigree was pasted from, just means that the colour has not been entered, probably when the data was transferred from books to computer. I think they will almost all be black, it just has not been entered.

Here are two pics I took yesterday. I set my camera to portrait mode and tried to get a bit closer to them. It was late afternoon and the sun was very low.
Hi Saffy Have you heard of zoom or telephoto this enables you to get close without being so. You may find it in your camera anorak book. This is all in joke :laugh: they are lovely photos and I agree you can get hooked with these digital cameras :D
Think yourself lucky young Welshdexterboy, over by there - I go to camera classes AND we are doing "Macro" at the moment, I could have posted REALLY close up pics of Dexters! A left nostril or an eye - tip of the tail maybe? :D
Hi Saffy, That can be good fun ( macro)you could put a picture on and then people could try and guess what part it is. Could you do like the same photo then zoom in on one section of it if that makes sense? :p I await your reply with bated breath. I have your instructions written down in a book ready for my next foray into picture publishing
And now for something completely different. Here's one of our T-Bone steak due to be eaten in a few minutes time. 100% grass/clover reared & finished on the same, no grain or hard feed at all.
we just butchered a highland *belgian blue for a neighbour, and he couldnt understand why i said it was too lean. it had no marbling but was very big in muscle bulk as you would expect. i didnt try any, it just did not appeal with no fat cover, but he will make a fortune on it as it is perfect for most retail customers
