Closing date for the Christmas Bulletin is coming up fast (Oct 20th). Can we tempt you into an ad? (see rates in last Bulletin) Why not wish friend and customer seasonal greetings ? Instead of paying postage why not give your favourite charity a bit of income ?
ps - don't forget all those articles you promised !!

As far as I know it is trapped in the postal strike and should be dropping on your mats this week

Hi Mark
You are correct - that was the idea; but when we looked in to the time scale, the printers said we would need to agree the content by May to be able to get the Calendar ready to sell by July, we decided that it made more sense to give members a year to photograph the seasons and be ready to go by May 2008 and produce a 2009 version.
regards

At least if I couldn’t get to the AGM, I have had a good morning with my Bulletin, our postman hasn’t been on strike, and hence I will have had the Herd Book and Bulletin ahead of some of you. Eileen has gone out with a flourish; it is excellent, and just shows what the members can do when they are pushed. Please keep it up, provide the contributions, and they will able to continue to publish. As most editors will agree, it is very disheartening to have so little return that one struggles to find enough material, and I know Eileen often experienced this. It was fun to find one of my favourite radio contributors telling the story of her Dexter acquisitions, but plenty of you will have a tale of your Dexters that is worth repeating.
