We spoke to a specialist butcher today who does all rare and monority breeds. He said "Out of all the minority/rare breeds, Dexter has the most distinctive taste and is very beefy".
He wants more Dexter but can't find any, but we do not have a supplier in his area on DBO.

We don't give out customer details, not even location. We give a list of producers to the customer and let them make their minds up who to contact, unless the customer asks for people to get in touch and then we would email the contact details to the people on the DBO list. We wouldn't do it via this board because most DBO people don't even use it, so wouldn't be very pleased, naturally.

Last night one of our customers (Pub & Dexter) told us he had seen a program the previous night featuring Dexter meat. There is another 'Great British Menu' listed for tonight. I hope it is a repeat. He was very impressed with the program.

Clive, I did remember that you had mentioned it, but hadn't given it a thought for ages. Unfortunately, tonight's show was not about Dexter meat. It was on Lifestyle Food, so I will keep an eye out for it again.
