Intra community trade in live cattle is supposed to start on 03/05/06. I have just contacted DEFRA for the rules re. testing etc. and they were a little surprised! They said they were working on it and we should have them in 3 or 4 weeks!
I am working on them and have a contact now so I shall keep worrying them and will let you know of any developments.

That sounds just like our government departments. There's a huge amount of advertising about needing to have particular forms accompanying pigs when they are moved from one place to another, from the start of a certain month. So I ring up the department to order my book of forms, so that I'd be prepared when I needed them and nobody knows anything about it! Typical. ???
