I am about to kill a couple of steers which I have finished. All previous carcases have gone straight to a farm shop but this time, due to local interest, I am keeping one for myself to sell. The butcher is going to cut it up and vacuum pack it for me and as I don't want to freeze it I want to have enough customers waiting. The beast will be about 200kg dead going on previous ones I have sold whole. If I were to sell it in boxes approximately how many boxes would I have to find customers for?

Hi

I have just done one of a simalar size and he has worked out at around 100 kilos boned out meat.

I had him done into one half into 2 boxes and one half into 4 boxes.

I hope this helps
