Dexter Cattle For Sale Discussion Board

Just found this picture from the Royal Show.
Dear Geoff Harrison, Sheila Sykes, Caroline Ryder and Sue Bancroft manning the Dexter stand and selling raffle tickets. Sheila sold loads.
Those were the days. We used to have such fun there every year. Miss it a lot.

Is it age that makes you look back with fondness? The Royal has been difficult to replace, in fact i don't think it has been replaced. I remember doing the grand parade with one of my cows, only firsts were allowed in, it was rammed with quality cattle and lots of crowds, a real privilege to be there.
